Silver Ash Rose

this is a very special project to me personally. This beautiful rose is my 100th project and fully dedicated to my grandparents. the rose is fully made out of silver, 100 grams of silver, to be exact. It features a glass flowerbulb containing ash of my grandparents.

There is also a loose petal in the base featuring a small quarts droplet. the petal signifies that something has ‘‘ fallen away’’ and the tear resemblences the tear that left my grandmothers eye the moment she passed away.

Grandpa, Grandma. I love you both so much, while you didn’t get to see me start my business grandpa I’d hope you’d be proud of me. Grandma has worn you around her neck for the last 2 years of her life. Grandma I know you were proud of me and loved listening to me talking about what all I’ve learned. I hope both of you follow my growth with the same passion as you did when you were alive. I love you.
