Dollar Orchid

The first orchid I have made. This is the version before adding the Copper Nitrate.

There’s a whooping 17 coins in here, all pressed flat to create this one piece

in total there are 8 Quarter dollars in here, aswell as 8 Pennies .

The leaf and bud are made using pennies too. though, I did not count how many pennies I smelted down to make it.

I chose the Dollar for this project as it has two different metals stacked on one another, I was able to bring the Copper out by sanding in the middle before pressing the coins.
